As a graduate of the Savannah College of Arts and Design with a degree in industrial design and a minor in architecture, in Savannah, Georgia, where he studied. In these formative years, Ke'Don honed his artistic language, design skills, and knowledge of technology, materials, processes, and techniques, which has since continued to develop professionally.

Ke'Don discovered a passion for industrial design, as a field that combines his interests in architecture and product design has driven him to become a well-rounded design professional. Some of the most noted attributes that allow him to stand out are his relentless work ethic, drive for knowledge, and passion for craftsmanship. This mindset and work ethic transitioned him from the humble beginnings he faced as a once homeless young man of relying on his ability to draw to survive each day.

Fearlessly, he is an individual who continues to believe and sees more in himself despite the odds stacked against him, coming from such a tough background. To him, being an industrial designer is more than a position or occupation; it's his life. Using his experiences, he now mentors other young designers and groups to share and inspire them to believe in themselves and to create passionately.

Ke'Don Franklin is a first-generation industrial designer with nearly a decade of experience who has defied the impossible and broken the statistics.
