The design begins with a single, considered gesture. A simple pill form.

Familiar, precise, and inherently human. From this shape, the band emerges. Every proportion and transition is guided by the geometry of the pill. Its gentle peaks and valleys are not decorative. They create space for airflow, improve comfort, and allow the band to move naturally with the body.At the center, the sculpted nose becomes a moment of clarity. It serves as both a visual anchor and a functional release point, intuitively guiding interaction while providing a secure slide. This pill-shaped language carries through the entire system. From the curvature of the band to the metal hardware, each detail reflects the same geometry, creating a cohesive and unmistakable identity.Silicone was chosen not simply for durability, but for its ability to balance softness and strength. Through color, material, and finish, it allows the product to express both performance and restraint, unlocking a refined, modern experience.

Inspired by a basic shape and evolving it into a solution of functional form to create an all new band. The iconic pill-shape serves as the base of design and is applied in each aspect applying proportion to create the function. The pill peaks and valleys fosters ventilation and comfort for the user when worn. The sculpted of the nose serves as an integrated release point and slider safe. This pill shape motif is also consistently reflected in the band's details, including the metal hardware, creating a cohesive aesthetic true to the Whoop. The choice of silicone dove the design form by playing up its benefits of maintaining shape but flexing to the users needs and also having the opportunity for a strong CMF story.
